So my husband and I caught a very bad cold this weekend. We even lost our voices. But whatever the situation, we have a 5 year old son that we need to keep entertained. So today we tried something we haven't done in so long. Last Christmas our son received a collection of art led lights called Lite-Brite. I must say it is quite fun to play. It came with different colors of led lights and stencils that can be used to create beautiful art. I noticed there is a stencil of a butterfly so my son and I decided to do a led light art using this stencil. I have been searching for a hobby for so long. I finally found something that I am enjoying. My son introduced me to creating art using beads and pegboards. Something he learned at the pre-school he is attending this year and I found it very interesting. Below is a picture of the fish beads pegboard art. Below is a picture when I was done. And then I had to heat my beads pegboard art with an iron. And below is the final art when it was all completed. It took some time to do this work of art. I noticed it requires patience. The beads are so small that it is hard to hold it with my thick fingers. However, I got it done. My son was helping me out at times when I couldn't take the beads out. :) And he also gave me some tips on colors to choose. I must say the time I spent on this beads arts and crafts helped me relax.
