Led Lights from Lite-Brite

So my husband and I caught a very bad cold this weekend.  We even lost our voices.  But whatever the situation, we have a 5 year old son that we need to keep entertained.  So today we tried something we haven't done in so long.

Last Christmas our son received a collection of art led lights called Lite-Brite.  I must say it is quite fun to play.  It came with different colors of led lights and stencils that can be used to create beautiful art.

I noticed there is a stencil of a butterfly so my son and I decided to do a led light art using this stencil.

Below is what the final art looked like once we followed the butterfly stencil.  The led lights were so bright and the butterfly looks so lively.  I must say it took us quite some time to follow the stencil but with little bit of patience we got to see the end result of our art.

If you have some time, this Lite-Brite box is fun to play and keep the kids busy and entertained.  I also noticed it helped calm my nerves because I was feeling overwhelmed by not being able to do all the house work needed to be done before the week starts again.  This art design with led lights benefited both of us. :)
